General
What it is, how it works and where to find it.
Its main ingredient, eugenol, is a compound found in cloves that has a mild desensitising effect on the skin. Applied to the sensitive area, the gel is designed to reduce sensitivity gently, which may help intimacy last longer. How it feels differs from person to person.
No. Many delay sprays and creams rely on these local anaesthetics. Alphamale Gel contains neither.
You'll find it in pharmacies in Jordan, Qatar and Ghana. Ask your pharmacist for Alphamale Gel by name. You can also order it online from the Goodness Care shop. The Where to Buy page has the details for each country.
Using it
How to apply it and how much to use.
Open one sachet, or squeeze a small amount from the tube. Apply the gel to the male sensitive area and massage it in well, 15 minutes before intercourse.
15 minutes before intercourse, as the pack directs.
A small amount, and no more than 1 g, which is the contents of one sachet. Using more can cause burning or stinging.
Each sachet holds 1 g, the amount for one use, so there is nothing to measure. The 5 g tube is for several uses: squeeze out a small amount each time, and no more than 1 g. The packs on sale differ from country to country.
Yes, following the directions each time: a small amount, no more than 1 g, 15 minutes before intercourse. Stop using it if irritation occurs.
Safety
Who should not use it, and when to see a doctor.
Using too much can cause burning or stinging, so use a small amount and no more than 1 g. If irritation occurs, stop using it and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Check the full ingredient list on the pack or on the product page first. Do not use it if you know you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, including eugenol or fragrance.
Do not use it together with sprays or creams that contain lidocaine or benzocaine.
It is for adult men. Do not use it on broken or irritated skin, or if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients. Keep it out of the reach of children.
Finishing sooner than you would like is common, and help is available. Talk to a doctor if it happens most of the time and troubles you or your partner, if you also have difficulty getting or keeping an erection, or if you notice pain, a rash or any change in the skin.
